...SNOW SHOWERS ARE LIKELY IN THE OLYMPICS AND CASCADES ON FRIDAY...

A STRONG STORM SYSTEM WILL USHER IN A COLDER AIR MASS ON FRIDAY THAT WILL CAUSE SNOW LEVELS TO PLUMMET AS LOW AS THE 4000 FOOT LEVEL. SNOWFALL AMOUNTS ARE EXPECTED TO BE LESS THAN 3 INCHES. HOWEVER THE AIR MASS WILL ALSO BE UNSTABLE ENOUGH FOR A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS...WHICH COULD RESULT IN LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS.

Okay, it's for the mountains, but still. SNOW in September! Whee!
