unmisha and I went on our forage for cucumbers last Saturday, acquiring 206 of the buggers, in various sizes. From those, we made 20 quarts and 11 pints of dills and 15 and a half half pints of bread and butter pickles. I also pickled the garlic I had (another 2.5 quarts of it), and still have about 13 pounds of beans to process. Canning is fun!
Next on my list: Corn and pepper relish from the book I swiped from John's mom, preserved mushrooms (in oil), and pickled beets.
