Busy Saturday

Up early, the cats had an 8 am appointment with Dr. Elson, and kinda needed us to take them and make monetary arrangements.

Sophia was unbelieveably good. Last year, she drew blood (after my warning the vet that she could get really aggitated, really fast). This year we saw the other main vet (coincidence? I don't know), and Sophia was sweet as pie. No hissing, no growling, no biting. Apparently she did take a swing at the vet tech during the blood draw process, but it was "really random" and didn't connect.

Batty was good too, but we expected that. :) He was just a wiggly scared boy.

But they're both healthy and current on their shots.

Mark didn't feel great this morning, so we didn't go swimming (which was fine by me)....so I've been puttering in the yard most of the day, actually making process on my list.

John's off to game, so it's just me and the kitties for the evening. I think we'll read, make some veggie soup and take a bubble bath.

I swear to God, it was her alien good twin sister at the vet this morning.

She actually purred while the vet was giving her the exam.

You know that couldn't have been the same cat that turned around in my arms last night and bit my chin.

I was all set to point out the picture of Sophia-as-puffball in the sunbeam.... but you're right.

The black and white puffball picture is also adorable.

But this is my grown-up princess.

Consider the fact that she weighed 10.65 pounds yesterday. :)
