Reaping what you sow...

...hopefully will result in a bumper crop of peppers!

This weekend, I finally got seeds started.

I reconfigured the bakers rack to be a seed starting bench (and after this, it'll be a more useful kitchen rack) and started three different kinds of peppers, snapdragons, coral bells, delpheniums, cerinthe and a lot of basil. You can never have too much basil.

I rigged up a holder so that the grow light can be suspended above the flats--now I just have to go unbox a timer, so I don't have to remember to turn the light on and off!

Seeds! Plants! Food! Flowers!

It's a wonderful thing.
