Blue Man

To cap off our busy weekend, John and I went to see Blue Man Group at the Paramount last night. What a fun show! I'm not so much into Tracy Bonham, but she does wield a wicked electrified violin.

The second opening band, Venushum, really caught my fancy.

But Blue Man Group. I do love my blue men. This was much more of a rock-style concert than their Vegas show (which we've seen three times now!), but had some of the same wonderful effects of the show. Lots of noise, lots of beat, lots of light, lots of wishing I was about 8 inches taller so I could see better!

Tonight, a two documentaries at the Film Festival that both promise to piss us off: one about Gulf War Syndrome and another about the 2000 Election fiasco in Florida.

To work, perchance to dream...

Took a lunchtime excursion to City People's Nursery.

It was really really hard to come back to the office, especially since tarsyddad, who was my voyaging companion, has the rest of the afternoon off.

We're in search of the elusive black nasturium. I've read that Log Cabin plants introduced them this year, but still haven't found any.
Jose at City People's promised to look for them when he orders in a couple weeks.

So, now, sitting in my office is a box of plants. I'll have to convince gymgeek to stop to pick them up on the way home from the film festival documentaries tonight.
