Monday, monday...

Of course, it's bright, shiny and already 55 degrees out there. And I'm trapped here until 5:30 tonight. Oh well.

I had a wonderful weekend.

Slept in both mornings (kinda, is it sad when 8 am is sleeping in?)

Saturday, I went to a 'Stampin' Up' Party, which was lots of fun. I like stamping, so I'll probably have a party of my own. We made some fun cards, I had a serious glitter incident, which will probably leave me shiny in places for weeks.

Saturday night was just lazy, lazy at home.

Sunday, we got up, made breakfast, lazed around, picked up snorklet and headed to the wineries. We meet John's mom, grandma and brother at Columbia winery.

We sampled lots of different wines. Someone ironic to me that I usually like the most expensive red and the least expensive white. We joined the wine club, so we get to have unexpected picks of wine every couple of months. YAY! It's a surprise!

Then we went across the street to Chateau Ste Michelle, and sampled more wines. Yummy, yummy wines. We didn't join the wine club there, though. We did buy some yummy wine.

And then, we went to one of my favorite stores: Half Price Pots. YAY! I got two big glazed lions heads pots for the rose trees out front, and a couple other pots for other things. Gotta love glazed pots at half of the retail price.

All in all, a very good day.

I'd rather be home today, than at work, but we do what we have to, I guess.

Where is Half Price Pots?
Couldn't find anything on them in the yellow pages or Google.
Need more pots!

Re: Where is Half Price Pots?
Half Price pots is at Bella Bogata mall in Redmond. It's owned by Gray Barn Nursery. I noticed, when I went by Gray Barn (out on highway 202 between Redmond and Fall City) that they also advertise all pots for 1/2 off.

Remember the size of the lions head pot my big banana is in? We bought a glazed pot, I think it's even a little bigger, for about $33 bucks.

The 30 inch tall zinc square planter was less than $30.

I love Half Price Pots. Holler next time you're up this way, I'll take you on a guided tour. :)

Re: Where is Half Price Pots?
The Half Price Pot store used to be the Gray Barn In-City nursery.

The Gray Barn Nursery is still Gray Barn Nursery, but also has 1/2 price pots.

And really cool plants.

The in-city one is almost exclusively pots.

Same here.

It was perfect outside this morning! I could have used an hour in the garden this morning, except I had an 8AM meeting. Which was cancelled last night at 9PM. On the bright side, literally, I'm leaving at 4!

You don't know me - I'm coming by way of kasha. We used to be roommates when she lived in Washington and I met John at one of Misha's campaigns.

Anyway! I'm a frantic stamper and I can never find anyone around to play with! I have a swap group on Yahoo called Unlimited Art if you're interested in swapping? Or maybe you'd like to meet up sometime to play?
