Sodo?
In the month of January, I swam 148 laps, the equivalent of 4.11 miles.
For someone who hadn't seriously swum a lap in the decade previous to that, that's not too bad.
Now, the goal is to start stringing those laps together, diminishing rest breaks (which have already substantially decreased since the first week) and work on endurance.
I'm pretty damn proud of myself.
Haven't gotten nearly as much accomplished today (besides swimming laps) as I hoped. But it's been a good day. Got up, swam, got home and
gymgeek and I ran some errands, mailing the last of the much-belated holiday gifts (sorry Becky!) and the M:TG card that he auctioned for an un-godly amount on ebay, and then to a yummy lunch at Dad Watson's, in Fremont.
Came home, in theory to work, but in actuality, to sit in front of the tv, and watch Bob Ross and Clean Sweep, thanks to the magic of TiVo. John had gaming at 5, so we headed up that way, socialized for a bit, then I left for wonderful meanderings at Home Depot and Target. Home to watch a couple more episodes of Clean Sweep and now I'm doing laundry and waiting for the call to come pick him up.
We'll be productive tomorrow. We kinda have to.
hiddeneye is coming up next weekend, and right now, it's a little too cluttered!
And
tarsyddad? You don't want to go to Home Depot. They have the cutest primroses...a little fancier than the normal eight-nine cent ones, but at $1.19, who's really complaining? I'm hoping it's not raining in the morning, so they can go to their new homes in the back yard....

We're working on it!
And, you know, if you really need John in the middle of the night, he'll wake up!
honestly, i'm all set with my sleeping bag, pillow and bedtime reading.
We have a comfy couch for your convenience. It's just cleaning off the coffee table, so things don't attack you in the middle of the night...this weekend, it tried to eat John's wallet!
