Monday, Monday....

As far as being productive, it was a fairly lazy weekend, after I finished gardening on Saturday....but it was nice.

Finally got most of the bulbs planted, and the back flower beds mulched and put to bed for the winter. I still have some anemones to plant out front, hopefully the weather will cooperate and I'll get it done in the next couple days.

Saturday evening, gymgeek went off to game, and I was going to be productive. Honest. Then I started watching figure skating, and then Trading Spaces. Well, I had to keep watching to see how that feather-covered wall turned out. And suddenly, it was too late and I was sleeping on the sofa.

Sunday morning, I had a burst of productive energy to clean the kitchen, and attempt cranberry meringues (which, sadly, were awful) before heading to Puyallup for Victorian County Christmas shopping with my sister and niece. It was great fun, and the first thing we've done together in nearly a year that didn't involve elder care of one sort or another.

Home early evening, to snuggle on the sofa and watch silly things.

Tonight: The Hebrew Hammer at 9 pm on Comedy Central. You know you want to watch this. Or at least tape it, if you're going to be watching Battlestar Galactica on Sci-Fi. :)

(did I mention the bulbs are finally in the ground? Happy relieved bulbs!)

Re: Bulbs...
We're going to force the bulbs. They should cheer the place up.

Did you watch The Hebrew Hammer last night? It was funny but I'm surprised that they are going to release it in theaters.

We watched Battlestar Galactica last night, but will catch Hebrew Hammer on the repeats.

We saw it during the film festival, and I remember thinking "This will NEVER be released in the theatres". It reminds me a lot of Blazing Saddles, a movie I can't see being made today. :)

I'm hoping it plays in Seattle again. I imagine a lot of the crowd would be folks (like us) who watched it as a midnight movie!

Heh. I did love the final "battle"...

"You couldn't put out some nosh?"

Also, wow with the body on Adam (I think, the actor playing the Hammer). I was...wow. Nice.
