oh my god...

The neighbors from across the alley (directly behind us) stopped John this evening to see if "we'd had a row" last night.
They thought that we were The Fighting Neighbors (tm). I'm so beyond appalled I can't express it.

John and Denise (the neighbor) both agreed that if it happens again, they're both calling the police. Then the next morning, I'll call the landlord (who's repeatedly asked me to move next door!)

I know they've got enough problems, but this one has become the neighborhood's problem---not just ours, being 8 feet away from their bedroom window.

You call too!
If it happens again, make sure you guys call as well.
If the police get more than one call about it, it will validate that it's loud enough that many neighbors can hear it. Aaron said that they take calls for loud parties and stuff more seriously if there are multiple calls on the same issue. Granted, things in small town Arkansas are different than in an actual city, but....

I hope it gets better (or just plain goes away) for you soon!

linvin' in the cit=ay.... you hear all kinds of things you don't want to.
it's got to be especially embarassing when you're neighbors think you're responsible.

how's the garden? mine is hitting that last burst of energy before the cool weather.
