The 50 Ways to Cook a Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast article continues to pay off. Last night we had the Indonesian Chicken Satay with homemade peanut sauce broiled on. It was quite yummy. After dinner, I ran to the library, returned a stack of books and got a new stack, then up to unmisha's to pick up some unwanted rhubarb. We'll give it a good home, complete with sugar and raspberries, and a nice place to stay, in pretty little jelly jars. Don't worry about the boiling part, it's for its own good!
Once home, we decided it was too late for the gym (we're going tonight, honest!), and took a walk on the way to Safeway. It was a gorgeous night, and lots of people were out in the neighborhood. I really love the fact that I live in a neighborhood where people walk, where neighbors talk across fences, and the neighborhood cafes can leave their chairs and tables out at night and not worry about them being stolen.
One week to the Manchester United game, where I won't see David Beckham. Oh well. It'll still be tons of fun.
