Weight Watchers, Day 8

Damn. That was depressing.

I've been good, on plan, and journaling.
I gained .4 pounds.

Oh well, I am not going to be deterred by this.

Talked with the group leader and came up with a battle plan.
1. Don't worry about it.
2. Realize I've been fighting this cold all week.
3. Increase my water intake
4. Decrease the caffeinated beverage intake.
5. Watch the salt.
6. Increase the protein a hair.

It's a lifestyle change, not a week-to-week diet, so I'm not really discouraged, just kind of irritated.

Hang in There
WW works well and it's a good maintenance plan. As does Atkins (as long as you don't have any kidney or major health problems).

It takes consistancy over time.

Darling! I'm on Day 8 too! I didn't know you were doing weight watchers. Cool!

I guess this would be a bad time to mention that I lost three pounds. However, keep in mind that I'm not sick, and I just started Boot Camp at the gym, so I've had two intense hours of aerobic activity.

Nope, I'm happy for you!

I know that not exercising *ahem for the last 8 weeks* probably has a lot to do with it, too.
First Mom's death and all that, and then this stupid ankle sprain.

But we're going back to the gym this weekend, come hell or high water!

I know this will work, I just have to keep moving on. :)
