Busy, beautiful weekend.

Friday night, I had a wonderful massage from my favorite student practioner, snorklet. I thought we were heading home afterward, but gymgeek's brother needed some alcohol and karaoke, so we headed up to Leilani Lanes. First time I've heard "Last Call" in a long, long time.

Got home late, slept in late. It was heavenly.

Saturday was a gorgeous day, and I got sucked in working in the yard. Suddenly, it was time to head down to gymgeek's parents for a yummy dinner of cassoulet. We hung out for a while, came home, and went to bed fairly early.

Slept in again on Sunday. gymgeek dropped me off at tarsyddad's house, and headed to his D&D game. tarsyddad and I spent the afternoon making hypertufa pots....1 part cement, 1 part sand, 2 parts peat moss, mix to a satisfying muck, mold into pots. It was great fun. She reports that they're drying nicely. They *should* have the strength and wearability of concrete pots, with much less weight. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Went to bed early, and getting up with the alarm didn't seem that bad this morning.

I think we needed the rest. Sleeping in sure was heavenly.

Got home just as the drops of rain were falling. We now have pots all over the place. Three are under the grill, 4 are in the garage, 1 is under the other half of my barrel and the rest (the small round ones) have a new home on garbage sacks. What happened to 70 degrees and sunny??

Perfect timing!
Sounds like perfect timing.

Do they seem ready to be unmolded yet?

Re: Perfect timing!
All have been peeled :) sure hope they set up some more. They're hard, but still brittle. I broke the sides of two of them. But if they set up like we hoped, just you wait until you see the round one we both liked!! Hugs
