I took the bus over to the South Bellevue Park & Ride to meet John, so he didn't have to come across the lake and then head down to Puyallup. Got off the bus, saw John pull in, and headed toward the parking lot. Down the hill a little gravel path, cut across the grass towards the truck and Ka-blooey. Wet grass, rubber soled shoes and I went "whump" on the ground, with my leg at an odd angle below me. To add insult to injury, I landed in a mud-puddley patch of grass. (fortunately, I had leggings on under my skirt, so I stripped off the worst of it before getting into the truck.
It's sprained, a pretty shade of purple and hurts like hell at times.
I'm really happy for the anti-inflammatory properties of motrin, in prescription strength. The crutch is a pain, but really helps.
I have way too much planned for this weekend to be hobbled.
