I'm bummed.

The weatherman promised snow over the weekend, and I didn't see a flake.

I love snow. I especially love snow when it gives me an excuse to stay in my house, snug as a bug, and watch the world become pretty and white.

Oh well, instead, it's 39 and raining. That's just miserable.

(the road was still white when I first looked at it this morning...)

I was quite thankful to not have any precipitation, as I could finally get out to rake the front yard, clean out the last of the irises and generally putter around.

Today was quite yukky, about 39 and drizzly, but there were some bits of blue sky this afternoon. Not bad. But it was really dark this morning, even at 7AM...

Damn. I knew I should've left West Seattle on Sunday. (If the snow won't come to me, I guess I must go to it...)

Bummer. Not a flake in my neighborhood.

And I was even hoping for Lake Effect, being closer to the water. (see, my midwestern leanings sneak out!).

I guess I shouldn't complain though (not that I won't) since I don't have to endure it all winter, and can easily drive to snow when the urge hits.

Good to see you, even briefly!

It snowed up here! Actually not even in Bellingham, but in Lynden (where I work) it did. It was pretty and slushy and made me smile. But I was glad when it melted.
