It's a little hottish.

Don't get me wrong, I love this weather. I just wish it'd cool down a little bit more at night, so I can sleep comfortably with one man, two cats and a down comforter. :)

Last night, the house just didn't get cooled off. Bless gymgeek for running to storage and bringing home the fans. Although, once the fan shut off, the neighbor's TV was so loud we turned the fan back on!

And, with it being hot, I was making cookies for a potluck tonight. Have I mentioned lately that I love my kitchenaid mixer? Man, it makes short work of mixing projects.

Got up this morning, and went for a walk. It was nice and cool. It'll probably take a couple hours for the marine layer that rolled in overnight to burn off. But they're predicting back into the 80s again today.

We'll see how the temperature is at noon, and decide whether it's an indoor bicycle day or a go out and run day. Right now, I'm leaning towards the lifecycle.

Well I"M complaining!
Yuk on 80+ degree weather! :)

I have a fan that blow the hot out and sucks the cool in. I'd recommend it. It's also temperature controled so it shuts off automatically.....

Completely soaked my back garden today, the plants were weeping with happiness :)

*hugs*

Dunno about Seattle...
but yesterday was a beautiful day down here in Portland. And the evening was even better. The whole 'hood was out chatting, dogs and kitties and kids playing in the street until after 9:30. I don't know what time the official sunset happened but it seemed to still be twilight around 10PM!

It was wonderful up here, too. Bobbi might disagree. :)

Last night, after work, I headed over to West Seattle for a Master Gardener's meeting. It was perfect to sit out in a beautiful garden and yak with other people who are nuts about plants. Jennifer's house is about 10 blocks from the main bus crossroads, so rather than wait for connector buses, I just meandered both ways, enjoying the weather and looking at things in bloom in yards. :)
