Hooray for Friday!

I know, I shouldn't be so excited about Friday, having taken a day off in the middle of the week, but still. It's Friday. We've nearly survived the week. And the weekend is full of fun plans. I just need to figure out when there's going to be some housework in there--probably tonight.

Tomorrow, it's swimming in the morning, then a hockey game and subsequent revelry afterward.

Sunday, a co-worker from Texas is in town, we're going to play tour guide--UW Cherry blossoms, the Market, The Space Needle. It should be fun. Then Sunday night, dinner at Mama's Mexican and an evening with Henry Rollins.

What's your plan for the weekend?

My weekend
Uhh, rehearsals for Woodinville Rep, and performing "Fiddler on the Roof" in Redmond. I might be able to sneak a trip to Fry's in there so Greg can get Stargate SG-1 Season 6 on DVD.

My weekend
By Chris Blakeley, age 29

I really want to go see the new David Mamet movie, Spartan, which'll probably be on Saturday. A trip to Bainbridge will wait so I'll go up to Northgate to get some odds & ends.

Sunday I've got VamoLa rehearsal and I'll be going down to Olympia beforehand for Procession of the Species rehearsal, something we've been unofficially invited to join in for.

I really hope it's sunny this weekend *nods*

this weekend it's supposed to turn back to dry & sunny weather, so i am planning to do a bunch of things in the garden (i know, quelle surprise, eh?)--i'm thinking of moving the rest of the ancient HT roses and i'm going to sow some more things in situ, among other things. next weekend, though, my lj friends from western mass. are coming out here again to see another old movie in the theater with me (this time, picadilly).

Tonight I think I'm having dinner with jenx and cjdoyle. Tomorrow, it's a belated birthday celebration with pstscrpt's parents and my sister. And Sunday I have tickets to Brunch with Bach (a brunch and small classical music performance; this month it's a string quartet) at the Detroit Institute of Arts with valsylph. Busy weekend.

I would like to be a lazy bum. However, my dad's home so I'm already getting the "are you going to come visit me?" line of questions.

I think it's going to be hectic as it's only a 2-day weekend though.
