Snow pictures!

But wait, there's more!

Bat Explores
Batty explores in the back yard. He liked the snow.

Red Pot
So bright and colorful.

Red Maple
I love this tree. It's gorgeous any time of year.

Maple
Just as pretty up close.

Birdhouse"
Like a ski lodge for the feathered flock.

Heavenly Bamboo
So pretty with snow, but we shook it so it wouldn't break.

Very pretty!

What kind of tree is that with the red bark? It would add some really great winter interest to our yard.

Tree ID
It's a coral bark maple.
During the summer, it looks like a normal maple, some red tone to the bark--maybe with a little smaller leaves, but in the winter, it's just gloriously red.

Re: Tree ID
Coral bark maple. Gottcha.

Oh, the Burpee catalog came in the mail today. I want *everything*!

I've had my fill of winter, it needs to be spring now cause I want to be out in the garden planting things. I'm going to attempt to grow some carnivorous plants as well this year.
