*contented sigh*

It's been a good day. Got up, went to work and did the one task that needed to be done today, then met gymgeek for fun and adventure.

The adventure started with navigating the ice outside. No snow. Just ice. Not fair at all. When we got to the Eastside, there was still plenty of snow around, though. It was so pretty. By the time we got out of Group Health, it was starting to melt in torrents from the trees.

Stopped for a hearty breakfast at Shari's, then off to brave the masses at Costco for fixings for tomorrow's (early) Epiphany party. Are you coming? Have you RSVP'd? I know tomorrow is only the Ninth Day of Christmas, but Tuesday just seemed lame for a party. Please come--otherwise my diet gets totally blown with all these fun foods!

Home to watch more Babylon 5. I'm so glad we're not having to wait a week between episodes.....but we just finished Season 3, and now have to wait for Season 4 to come out (which thankfully is only next week). Ran to the library, and Safeway, and then home to kiss John on his way out the door to go kill things go gaming.

Yup, it's an exciting life. And I love it.

Off to take a bubble bath while the cream cheese and butter for tart shells softens.

Thank you, btw, for the invite. Can't make it, but wanted you to know that I am thankful none-the-less. I hope it goes off well, and that you only eat enough bad food to sate your desire for it. And isn't holiday food fat free or something?

And good luck with the house adventure.
We'll keep something crossed for you.

I'm not sure if I'll make it ...
Some of the roads over here are ok but the ones nearest my home are getting progressively worse, lots of black ice, so I'm reluctant to ask anyone to venture over to get me and take me back.
